There seems to be some confusion around the release dates for this song.
* Wikipedia says 29 November 2010 and that the song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 on 25 December 2010.
* RYM says 16 January 2011, although there is also a 2010 entry for a release in the Netherlands.
* Discogs says 29 November in the Netherlands and promo releases in the UK and US during 2010, but commercial release in 2011 outside the Netherlands.
In summary, it looks like this song should be filed under 2010, unless the Dutch single was in fact a promo release as well.
"Rolling in the Deep" in fact debuted on Billboard's 12/25/10 Hot 100 *and* Hot Digital Songs chart- so, it in fact was available for purchase in 2010.
Sure- but what I'm saying is that the record label released "Rolling in the Deep" as a digital single in December 2010, hence it's debuting on the Hot 100 and Digital Songs charts. Physical singles long ago went by the wayside in the USA, leaving digital as the primary singles format.
