Re: Mid-term 2011 lists

Tim E
Still haven't heard the new Horrors but I'm sure that will be in there if it's anything like their last album

2. Tennis(Am I the only one who thinks they sound like the love child of Neko Case and the Dittybops?)

I get that now. She lacks Neko powerhouse vocals, but has a similar approach in the delivery. I still listen a little of Bethany's early demos, but far fewer now and the comparison is more of an abstract, personal one. Blame it on Cults- they do are the ones that sound like a better produced Best Coast. ~doesn't mean it is a bad thing~

I'm actually surprised by the lack of tUnE-yArDs since it is one of the unique sonic landscapes and best albums of the year. Reminded me of Bitte Orca striking me in 2009.
