I've been neglecting to write out the rules at the start of every post because we haven't had a lot of newcomers to the game since the beginning. I'll write it out here.

Best Moderately Acclaimed Album is a game where 128 albums are nominated by members of the forum. These albums can be anything rated below 500 on AM, and there can be no more than 25 rated above 1000, 50 rated above 1500, 75 rated above 2000, 1000 rated above 2500.

For each match you have a week to vote. Anybody is allowed to vote, but you must have heard both albums in a match in order to vote.

If there is a tie at the end of the week, the vote is left open for one more week, and next vote decides the match. If no vote is cast in a week, it moves to the 'bidding tiebreaker'. In the bidding tiebreaker, every voter starts out with ten points for the whole tournament, and can spend any amount of points on one of the two albums. The album with the most points moves on, and people who voted for the winning album lose their points, and people who voted for the losing album do not.

Starting at the quarterfinals the tiebreaker will go straight to the bidding tiebreaker, because there are only two weeks per round.
