5 listens in, and my mind is still completely blown. I've always been a huge Bill Callahan fan, so it comes as no surprise that I would like this, however, I was not expecting his finest record yet. I will not attempt to drool foolishly over the details yet, for much more listening is required. Just wondering if anyone else had any first or second impressions.
First (and second) impression is.. solid. Overall a little better than "Sometimes I Wish We Were An Eagle" but it doesn't have "Eid Ma Clack Shaw", so I think they're about the same.
