This is an album that I've stumbled upon several times in Spotify when I've searched for different film scores, most recently "Yumeji's Theme" from "In the Mood for Love" that Nicolas included in his list of songs from 2000. I suppose these songs have all been awarded at Cannes for best music and what a superb collection it is!

Think that inside the selected group of movies that obtained the Palme d'or are also "Orfeu Negro" (Marcel Camus, 1959), "Paris Texas" (Wim Wenders, 1984), "Pulp Fiction" (Quentin Tarantino, 1994) or "Dancer in the Dark" (Lars Von Trier, 2000)
