I had a feeling Arcade Fire might shoot up to #1. When I first heard The Suburbs, I thought it was focusing too much on Pop and I found the rhythm a bit samey from song to song. But, as was the case with both previous albums, I gradually couldn't resist giving it a spin over and over again while appreciating nuances I hadn't heard at previous listens.
Here's hoping the "late 2010" release of the forthcoming Radiohead album will be amazing and we will have another Arcade Fire vs. Radiohead for albums of the year / decade.
Nice to see an album finally (and deservedly) break the 71-point barrier, and then some.
I'm new in this.
Should I post my guess before the 25th, or e-mail it somehow?
The Clues will be online soon; then you can post your guess in the new thread !!
