Seger -- I'm still shocked he turned out to be a #1 seed...
STG -- A battle of two newer bands I really like, my gut says TVotRadio wins, so I'm voting Shiny Toy Guns to make it closer...
Miles -- I know, I still can't believe NKOTB is in this thing either...
EPMD -- I like a handful of Yes songs, but I find them to be long drawn out songs and I really like songs like "Crossover" that EPMD put out during the 'Golden Age of Hip-Hop' before it became commercialized $hit-Hop....
TFF -- Though I really enjoy TMBG, just in small doses...
Kansas -- An occasional Monkees song sounds OK, more than one at a time can get on your nerves a little...
Happy Mondays -- En Vogue might be one of the few modern day R&B acts I kinda like, but the Mondays take you back to a magical time. They never get old...
The Kooks -- Johhny Coug has his moments, just really dig the first couple of Kooks records...

#1 Bob Seger - agree, another shocking #1...he's had some good songs over the years though. "Old Time Rock and Roll" has a whole new meaning, now that it's 30 years old, and I'd rather listen to that song than most of the dreck on mainstream radio today.

#11 The Monkees - this was really a tough choice...both groups have some classics, and though it might be cliche, "Dust in the Wind" and "Carry on my Wayward Son" will live on for decades. But the Monkees have more good songs.

#1 Bob Seger - Wow this was a tough choice. Both have over praised monster hits ("Lean on Me" and "Old Time Rock 'n Roll") and both have other hits that are much better ("Hollywood Nights"/"Night Moves" and "Ain't No Sunshine"/"Lovely Day"). Both have unique voices that are instantly recognizable. And while I am more of a soul man than a straight ahead rock man, Seger wins it by a nose.
