In the UK, Oasis is the biggest band of the past 20 years… In the US, they are that band from the 90’s that did “Wonderwall”. “Live Forever” and “Champagne Supernova” also received some moderate airplay in the states. “Don’t Look Back In Anger” and “Go Let It Out” are amongst the 20+ top 10 hits in the UK.

After being in a number of bands, including Cream and The Yardbirds and being considered a guitar God, Clapton went solo and has had a long career. Some of the highlights include “After Midnight”, “Tears In Heaven”, “Cocaine” and “I’ve Got A Rock ‘N Roll Heart”.
From synth pop to the kings of industrial metal, Ministry has had a long career including “Every day Is Halloween”, “Stigmata”, “Burning Inside” and “Jesus Built My Hot Rod”.

#8 (473) CINDERELLA
#5 (296) THE STROKES
#4 (217) PARLIAMENT/FUNKADELIC
#14 (857) EDDIE VEDDER
#11 (680) EELS
#10 (601) BACHMAN-TURNER OVERDRIVE
#2 (89) ERIC CLAPTON
My Vedder vote is for his work with Eddie Vedder and the C-Average, a thrown-together group who played at least one show on Mike Watt's "Tugboat" tour (I have a bootleg- not great, but good enough for this matchup).
#1 Oasis - I'm not among those who feel they were the reincarnation of the Beatles, but they had a decent thing going.
#8 Cinderella
#5 The Strokes
#4 Parliament Funkadelic - not googoo for Gaga
#14 Eddie Vedder
#6 Moby - love "Play", brilliant album
#7 Night Ranger - my favs were "Goodbye" and "The Secret of My Success"
#2 Eric Clapton - I love "Promises" and "Wonderful Tonight", two of my all-time favorite songs. Ministry? Blech, no thanks.
