If I remember well the rules, I don't think they are (furthermore, it seems that for each list there's only one author) but I post them just in case.

Maybe they can be added. However it always takes more time to add lists like these, because I need to check which albums that were eligible, and therefore they don't get a high priority. Why do you think that the EW list is by a single author?

It's simply because EW.com attributes the list to Chris Willman. But I'm unsure, since it seems it's only the name of the person who posted the list on the site that's shown, which doesn't mean Willman authored it alone.

Anyway, how do you decide which albums are eligible, and which are not?

Film soundtracks released before the list was compiled are eligible.
