They've stuck to a relatively binding bracket of songs: 'indie disco classics with a couple of pop gems littered in for good measure because skinny white kids in ironic Slayer tees don't mind wailing "ella! ella! ella! eh eh eh!" at 1am after a couple of snakebites".
But y'know what, I fit that description like a glove so I think the list is fantastic. Yeah they're missing a lot of good and more 'acclaimed' songs, but I think it's good to have some variation to the usual lists that are coming in and so NME's sits well with me.
In particular, I think no.36-13 (bar maybe 'Bang' which is okay) are outstanding. Apply Some Pressure should be higher, mind.

I am glad NME got the right two Radiohead tracks of the decade. All this "Pyramid Song" and "Idioteque" love is boggling my mind. I'm not a hater of those songs, but I definitely wouldn't consider them the band's best output from the past ten years.
