Re: EYL Q magazine (albums)

i can slightly understand doing an EOD list at this time but, EOY??? there's still 2 months left.

Re: EYL Q magazine (albums)

I agree, Michael.

Two months before the end of the year and fourteen for the end of the decade

Re: EYL Q magazine (albums)

Seeing the name Cheryl Cole on a list on this site just sent a shiver down my spine. Up until then I actually thought it was a slight improvement from some of their more recent end of year lists.

Re: EYL Q magazine (albums)

Actually liked this list... mainly because I thought Humbug was a solid album and its not likely to get much praise around the globe...

well if you want to be technical, there's 14 months till the end of the decade but colloquially people prefer 2000 as the start of the decade. just like most say the 70s started in 1970, not 1971.

Re: EYL Q magazine (albums)

I know some fellow nerds who were really pissed when everybody considered the millennium to end in 1999 instead of 2000.

Re: EYL Q magazine (albums)

Ok Michael

Even for me it would be very unusual for the '70s, for example, will end on 31 December 1980, but, as you say, technically true.

Mika??
You have got to be shitting me...
