Before I launch the whole thing, I'd like to ask you about the formula used for points.

In the last 2008 poll, I remember it was

score = 100*(1+20)/(position+20)

As I would like to make it a top 200, does the "+20" still apply ?

Dang, I was all proud of myself for getting a top 100 ready. Not sure I can go back to the drawing board for another grueling 100 albums.

Funny. I was going to pair the non-ranked list I made for this poll today from 176 to 100. I guess I could just add 24 more.

I've still been using that program I showed you a very beta version of last year so I can summon up a top 200 list easy. I'll just need some slight tweaks.

It'll be interesting to see how the newest albums fare.

Thank god RYM is back with no lost data so I don't forget anything. I know that for me at least, 2 albums from this year will be making my top 40 and that's pretty crazy since only 6 albums from the 00's will be in the top 40.
