I've been to a French guy's site (his name is Bruno and you ought to thank him) who reviews his best records and gives a lot of references of different critics and magazines, etc.
I e-mailed him and he sent me an Excel file containing the famous rock & folk list i told you about in my last post.
Indeed, Rock & Folk published not less than 3 different record lists during the nineties (because of the end of the century ?) : one in 1991, one in 1995 and one in 1999 that is already on the data base
here is the first one of these, the one i've got at home. It's worth seeing : apparently they made a point of including more records from the eighties
you'll find similarities with Phil Manoeuvre's choices, because Phil was (and still is) RnF's chief editor
