I'd really appreciate any ideas on the best campground in Yellowstone. We will be arriving through the North entrance, probably June 12, staying three nights.
I can understand why the government-run parks don't take advance reservations, but what do they do with all the people who can't find camp sites? I'm hoping that this won't be a problem in the second week of June.
One more question. Any suggestions as to a great day hike?
Haven't been to the park in over 20 years, and now I get to bring my nine-year old son. The money just came in yesterday to pay for gas and rib eyes, so I'm pretty excited about planning the trip. Thanks for any help.
