Thanks Vincent but quite different to the one I require ! The "wing" is almost twice as deep as the one you pictured and the "boss" is quite substantial too!...I believe it was used prior to ww2 on other BSA's!? I appreciate the contact though.....but the search continues...

....(finally got the gist of the uploading pics thing.. huzzah!)... this is my current cap..its had holes drilled in it and has been lightened at one stage for speed..also the hinged part is nearly cracked right through!!..I may be able to effect a repair on the hinge if necessary and also plug the holes up more adequately but a far more satisfactory result would be to find a decent replacement if possible?..🤞 p.s havnt got a clue where the words " number generator dice" appeared from!??
