I am looking to start the rebuild of my 1952 Triumph TRW. A friend has kindly offered to pitch in and help which will make a nice change from doing things alone.
The bike was bought as a basket case and has quite a lot missing. Fortunately all of the tinware appears to be there including the air filter and bash plate but rims and spokes are missing (these will be replaced with new items).
I have the fork sliders, dust excluders, top/bottom yokes and steering damper but no fork internals at all. New stanchions, nuts, bushes and springs are available and will be purchased.
Does anyone out there have the rods and other internal parts that we would need please as it is all missing.
LMS Lichfield still seem to stock at least some TRW parts. They used to sell complete machines; perhaps they have leftover assemblies?? Worth a try if you have not already.
