Research on this is unbelievable - well done
So
Here I am

In your research on the military saddles - did you come across any information on the Terry S811 or the Lycett LT/B30/B
Both these are listed for the WB30
I don’t suppose I will ever get a correct & fully accurate seat for one of these bikes - but if you had further information on what would be considered dimensionally accurate / I could try for one of those at least
The seats had
Terry
7 nose springs
15 rear springs

Lycett
7 cords looped

Any steer on this is appreciated - I’m not bothered if it’s Terry or Lycett spec - the cover hides everything - but correct dimension is achievable if known

That looks a bit more comfortable than my seat.
The high ridge around the back I have is a pain.
I do think Anna's bungees are a little slack though, or I'm just too heavy.

Hi John,

Just compared the spring / bungee lengths of the WB30 saddles with the lengths of all the other saddles: no matches unfortunately. Not a lot that I can add to that I'm afraid... Finding a drawing of (one of) these saddles or a photograph that shows some saddle details would be like finding the Holy Grail! 🥥🥥 🥥🥥

I had a frame of this type some time ago & gave it AT for his enfield
Now I am a bit better prepared & armed with better knowledge - I’ll be on the hunt on the bay & cheddar next time

The 4 or 5 sets of bungees I've had from Anna, all come with only one end closed with the hook, so you can make your own tension. Ron
