Special thanks to Ian a regular on here for showing and allowing me to copy this photo,its a Temple Press photo who were the publishers of "MOTORCYCLING" known as the Green un , it probably dates from 1940/41 and might have even featured in an article in the magazine,they are early models with the larger tanks,the bike on the left has foot rest rubbers and front brake rod,the bike on the right has the later type foot rests and brake cable,both have had their head lamps and speedos removed.
