C4452 (for 900 Model D) is annotated "For ADGB Units" Air Defence Great Britian was the forerunner to A.A. Command. This group with Royal Artillery cap badges are likely to be an ack-ack unit.
Great pictures, thanks Steve. But as much as I lean to the right and squint. I still can't read the full C number:confused: Although it does make me wonder if they are from the previous contract C3739 (C3910***) ?Ron
Definitely two WD/Ds from contract C/3739. Only this contract had PMC registration prefixes, and on the other bike I can just read a C3910-something census number, which is also contract C/3739.
