I received an email today from David Leon ? , it had a link to one of my posts many moons ago regarding difficulties starting my M20, then a message asking me if I was still interested in the parts I requested?
Can anyone vouch for David Leon ? As haven’t requested any parts from anyone, in fact been many years since I looked at any parts ( IIRc)

Think that was a scammer also active on FB, so better not react.
There was a Veteran called David Leon, but he passed away last year.

Thanks Lex, Thought it was a bit weird, but wanted to check on the name just in case.

FB is the worst place for scammers, especially vehicles, I was looking at a vehicle last year, it was advertised as being local, then seen it again located in London, then Manchester, Cardiff , Newcastle……

I received the exact same email.
It looked fihy from the start so I started to ask some questions.
He wanted to sell hi whole bike and was ready to ship. So I figured very soon that it was a scam so I asked if I could pick it up. Then it beacem to obvious.
