Regarding Golds, please email me some pictures, we have lots of gold colours we can work with in vinyl, slighly more limited with the waterslide stock. If you have a picture of the matchless that would be good. I have been meaning to look over this artwork and maybe on the next batch we can change.
I have seen an image ofa WD/Co Royal Navy /Army with a design similar to 6427 etc. Cannot tell from black and white photo whether it was a single colour or had an outline. Does anyone know the colour(s) used? I would attach an image but i'm not sure how to on this forum?
The pre war tank logo transfers can indeed be seen on some war time photographs. They were indeed used on the 6 (six!) Model J2 bikes for the RAF, and on the (one!) RN Model G publicity bike:
Production RN Model G motorcycles used the same transfer as the WD/C and WD/CO:
This transfer (used on 7 bikes in total) was gold with black outline by the way... 😊
Royal Enfield WD models are may next sets to add to the range hopefully today. As discussed not sure if a gold Royal Enfield did go on the rear mudguard. I am also redesiging the C numbers to match RE models. I know someone else makes them but i don\'t think they are UK based.

Thanks Jan,
So question is, what colour was the logo? it does appear to ahve the outline.

In 2019 I have made CAD drawings of the Royal Enfield census numbers. For as far as I know, Enfields were the only ones to use waterslides (Ariel and Matchless used stencils, BSA and Norton used signwriting). At that time I asked Classic Transfers for the possibility of making sets, but this didn't come cheap... If there is a chance to have waterslides for a fair price I'll send you the CAD drawings!

I Can fit it onto a white printing of ours and perhaps charge similar to our vinyl and paintmask alternatives. I won't be doing a white printing until after christmas, I plan to offer vinyl/paintmask as an option for now in the meantime. Only letter i'm stuggling with is No 3.

Sorry Adam, vinyl census numbers are definitely a no-go! If you will be making Royal Enfield waterslide census numbers, you can have my CAD drawings!

I'll offer just as paintmask for now then until i do a printing. What numbers are used? If it's not every single nummber then i should be able to do a printing quite easily.
Hi, will take a closer look at the original Triumph petrol tank, and take some measurements, I think all the instructions on the transfer are in the rider handbooks, the steering damper knob was deleted on later models, so could be two versions, also there is no oil tank drain and refill transfers available for this model.

hmm so are you saying it's not worth putting a set together for this one? Or maybe we just specify that it was only found on 7 bikes?
Regarding the Welbike transfers, they are basically all wrong and had sent Bob a lot of pictures to rectify the situation, I have never bought any, as I'd rather go without, than apply the wrong ones.
Have found a good solution to applying your (and others) transfers to the very matte paint on the military bikes, it takes more time and effort, but certainly worth it.
Will write it all down, and illustrate with pictures, but it will take some time.
