Could someone please tell me the overall length plus the size of the mounting holes at each end of the M20 rear stand spring. Part no 66-4767 I believe.

The rear stand on my 1940 Excelsior Universal needs one and after looking around I think with some fudging that on the M20 may hopefully fit the bill.

I've got what looks to be an old stock spring. It's about 122mm centre to centre, with 11 mm holes at the end.

I only have a catalogue picture of the original and now I know the M20 version is somewhat shorter but as it’s by far the easiest and cheapest to get hold of it remains top of the list if I don’t find something like in the photo. Who knew making a rear stand could such a drama.
