Hi folks
Probably more focussed towards our buddies on the continent- but perhaps some uk Wd / vintage bike enthusiasts from uk could also comment it they attended
I am considering doing something different next year & am considering to travel to veterama - skipping the pilgrimage to netley & beaulieu
As I live in an Eu country these days - I can travel without hinderence between Ireland & the continent unlike the U.K. which is no problem to enter from experience- but the return through Irish customs has the potential to become awkward
Consequently- if I do trade in U.K. - I limit what I bring over - the social side of things is now making the trip these times
So - what I am trying to find out - is the veterama event worth the trip to trade or to visit in preference to the netley/ beaulieu event
Be interesting to hear from any of you - photos of this event seem very impressive

Veterama is well worth a visit, takes most of the day to walk around once. T
here are not many traders offering british bike stuff (De Groot and a hand full of other EU based suppliers) so another would be most welcome.
If you are hunting for specific British parts not generally available off the shelf it might be disappointing.
If you are looking for parts then I would stay in the UK, if selling I'm sure you would find buyers. Maybe tell the folks in the Germany BSA club that you are coming and what you can bring along.
Andy Tiernan is a regular from the UK.
Anyone looking for Harley and custom parts is well catered for! Like many such events it seems that the number of stands offering tools and t-shirts has increased recently.
Thanks Peter
Andy no longer attends the event but in previous years did well buying & selling bikes
I’ll think on it - I have plenty of time still to consider it
