Hi, the techical section shows the gearbox main bearing as a 6207 (72 × 35 x 17mm). From what I could gather from other sources this should be a Hoffman LS 12 or RHP LJ 1 1/4 or RLS 10 (69,85 x 31,75 x 17,44 mm). Is this correct?
The 6207 is the correct bearing....6207 2RS if you want the rubber seal option which is recommended for WD models...I run them with one seal (the inner) removed...Others run with both seals in place....Ian
Ian, much appreciated. However, I recently replaced both bearings on a M20 gearbox and this box had the imperial bearing, so a little dumbfounded. Perhaps this is an early box as this bearing was similar to my 29 Slopers gearbox? Again many thanks
