Hi all, I've fitted sealed steering bearings to my WM21. The top faces of the inner and outer races are flush / level. My query is, do these need a thin spacer / washer for the inner races, to allow the top and bottom yokes space to turn? Hope this makes sense. Regards, Craig
Hi Craig...I've sent you an e mail with an attachment detailing the full fitting instructions for the sealed ball bearing conversion....Ian

I had to do just that with shims to mine. It's a nasty experience when the top yoke rubs on the outer race:scream: Ron

Thank you both; I thought I was missing something. Looks like a couple of thin shims are the solution... WM20 2966 is coming together slowly with a lot of help from you all. My regards, Craig
