Got my bike running again and then the oil feed return tube burst.
Tried to fix it and then it burt again.
I found out that the return feed is blocked inside the oil tank. So I took a compressor and tried to clear it.
Now the compressor hose burst.
Anyone any good ideas how to unblock the feed line?
Is this a joke? I can't imagine an M20 oil pump would have enough pressure to burst a hose that wasn't made of licorice and a compressor hose is designed to run at pressures in excess of 100 psi. Are your flow and return pipes plumbed the correct way round? Ron
I think the steel Rod holding the oul filter is clogged. I am thinking of drieling a hole in the pipe on the bottom of the oil tank.
Only problem then is that I will bypass the oil filter I guess.
I've never come across such a bad situation as this. Maybe take the tank off, block up the feed outlet and fill it with petrol to break up the clogging. Ron
