I would like to ask about dating this left crankcase of a possible WD BSA m20,found in Belgium . It has got no letters only number 605803 and a david's star(or simular) on the inside casting, which had got the number 66 1604 ( hard to read).I am curious about the production date, any help is welcome,
It sounds as if your casings have been re-stamped but the best way to find out would be to post some high-resolution photos here as the experts will be able to say if they are WD-type.
