Hi msrk Thanks for that - I note your cable is the earlier type with the “drum “ shaped nipple suitable for the combo lever set up Later type were fitted with a kind of tapered nipple used with the common single pull lever I have cable making equipment here & the springs provided are too long & very stiff Back to the drawing board - I might just shorten those I have here Br John
If you remove coils from the springs John it will get stiffer! Mark
Hi mark worth sacrificing one just to see The springs I have are just over 2 1/2” in length Cant be right Br Job
