Has anyone on the forum come accross a frame number stamped with "LVLO" and then six numbers?

My understanding is that this is how economic insurance write offs were dealt with.

I can't find much on the internet about this.

They were used for replacement frames and also, if memory serves, for specials, choppers etc. for a short period during the 70's/80's..I can't remember exactly when that was but I've had one.....Ian

It's on an old M120 and sidecar I'm interested in.

I was a bit concerned at first as I hadn't come across such a thing before.
