Looking at the bolts on the headlamp there is 3 bolts the same size, and one slightly smaller. Can anyone tell me why they are different sizes the single bolt, what stay it fits on?

Hi Danny,
I'm sure that the longer of the 4 bolts, is used to fasten one of the brackets that is used for the front fork adjusting knob.

Shouldn't these bolts have reduced hexagon heads? Pre war machines had.

There is not a lot of room for the heads of the bolts Kalle, reduced hex would make more sense.
The only description I can find is for the length.
