Nice pictures Steve! Thanks for sharing! It is amazing how many Ariel RAF contract C/S14218 there are. Compared to sister RAF contract C/S14219 it's about 10/1...

The black out mask on these Ariels is a bit of a mystery, there's quite a few photos of this mask type fitted to RAF Ariels, could it be possible that they were specific to the RAF, suppose we need to find an original RAF WNG parts book.

I've got several pictures with "normal" blackout masks on bikes from this contract as well, plus a few without a blackout mask (must be post war Europe).
