Philip is the late Don Law's son and often has interesting parts for sale. Don was a nice bloke and a regular autojumbler. I bought some decent stuff from him back in the 1980s.
Yes that one is post war and might suit a TRW or B40? But since I just dug out this picture, mine was different. It has WD on the lid so I hollowed it out and fitted it to my Royal Enfield WD/G. But I didn't know it's age or have any evidence of them, so I fitted one of Arnaud's WD Lucas batteries.
However since then I think Lex told me that some G3L's had Varley batteries?? Ron
Ah, I have the same postwar one! Have been pestering Arnaud for 3 years now to have some wartime copies made, maybe you can try again Ron?? the last couple of G3L contracts had these Varleys.
No exposed terminals on the Lucas. Here is my original 1943 that Arnaud used to take moulds for his repros. And one of his repros with the dummy top that he made for me. Ron
