A late Triumph 3HW from March 1945 recently sold at Bonhams (Dec 1st) a project bike in need of some parts,did any one on the forum buy it?





below ,handle bars would have been BSA type with out end caps 7/8th inch , wit
below,correct toolbox fitted with hole for small chain visible.

below, earlier engine fitted,numbers look like they have been stamped with smaller frame punch?

below,front mud guard on later models has more claerance,bottom stay is longer than earlier models,as is the riveted stay on the mud guard.

below,later models had steering damper deleted in 1944,its frame mounting point still being used for the wiring loom clip.


above,oil pump cover went back to alloy in 1945.
