Front mudguard painting

Hi all

Does anyone know what the white tip painted to some wm20s is for/means?

It would be for use in the UK under blackout regulations.

With a blackout mask fitted it increases your chance of seeing the end of the mudguard...:laughing: ..I took mine for a ride down a few unlit Devon lanes and extreme caution was the order of the day.....Ian
