I will be going to Normandy next year, after four days of finding somewhere to stay!
Looking for advice on what take in terms of keeping the bike going. I will be doubling up on the cables and packing spare valves, gear mech springs, oil and inner tubes.
But what else has hard earned experience proven to be wise to take?

I took a hammer, a tin of tuna and completely the wrong tent to Monte Cassino.

And someone I know found that a spare inner tube is of little use if you don't have a pump.
