Pretty late call, but Erik and I will visit the grave of Don Fife this Sunday at app 11am to lay flowers and a copy of the plaquette.
Sgt Donald Fife was killed in action on the 7th of April 1945 and most of us know the legendary picture of him on his Norton WD16H, taken in front of the shrine in Fresney le Puceux.
Anyone who wants to attend is welcome at the Canadian War Cemetery in Holten.
Yes well done Sven and Erik. No doubt well make our usual pilgrimage to the shrine at Fresney in June. It's a lovely ride if the weather is nice. I'll also be thinking of Hans. What a gent! Ron
