There were two types originally, threaded for screw adjusters and plain for the top hat type ferrule where mid-cable adjusters were used. You haven't said for which bike / carb, not where you are...Malta presumably.
The threaded type are available new but obviously the best option would be to find a fellow enthusiast on Malta with a spare.
