Looks like a rifle clip has been bolted onto the front mudguard,and a smaller clip onto the head lamp bolt possibly a field stand clip.

It could be to carry a Sten gun but its going to get pretty mucky?

Could the rifle clip be to hang the bike on another vehicle or tank?
