I nearly got cleaned up by a fellow motorcyclist.
The WM20 & I sitting on the 30MPH limit in one of the Hills villages near my place, I saw the headlight of a bike coming up fairly quickly behind. Needing to make a left hand turn I started slowing & gave a railway semaphore standard, arm straight out & pointing left signal.
I was just about to peel into the left turn when a Jap bike buzzes past me on the left, its female? rider giving me a cheerful wave.
I figure she either didn't see, straight out ignored the signal or thought I must've been waving her through to (illegally) overtake me on the inside of the lane.
It pays to remember that to a huge section of the motoring public the contraptions we get around on are simply incomprehensible.
