Hi best wishes to all forum members especially the wealth of knowledge gurus Ian Wright and Ron Pier. I am constantly amazed at the number of posts these two guys answer. Only 38 in sunny Melbourne Victoria, Australia. Just had dinner with family friends 2 Irish folks from Galway, 1 English man, 1 Thai girl and 1 New Zealander who all now call Australia home. I like to join in the good wishes for Christmas and a hopefully more peaceful 2023 although I have my doubts about the Russian/Iranian/Chinese intentions.

I would like to join Ron as well regarding FB.
What I come across there makes me cringe many times.
Every ignorant has a meaning, rather exhaustive.
There are however also some more knowledgeable trying to steer it the right way and being useful.
Problem nowadays, there are to many platforms to follow so it is all becoming very diluted wrt knowledge and help.

Off the topic of the thread really (though that's nothing new:laughing:) but I agree with Rob... I can't say I find other platforms very edifying or informative much of the time...Many posts seem to end up in arguements/criticism or giving the wrong information....Having tried others I still think this is by far the best with a great range of knowledge available, though I'd like to see a few more comments from the many that look but don't post..It's good to hear other opinions, ways of doing things etc....Ian
