Re: I want More info for BSA M20 SIDE VALVE DE LUXE
OMG. Thankyou soo much for information. I hope someone has another photo for details. And is the serial number still only from KM? Is there anything that starts with WM?
my motorbike is engine coded
WM20. 20274.
Even if it's not the same. it's okay I will restore the bike to the De Luxe version
Re: I want More info for BSA M20 SIDE VALVE DE LUXE
Engine 'WM20 20274' is from a 1940 military contract for 3,000 bikes....Contract number C6126....What is your frame number?..The pictures above show a civilian deluxe model...1939 military bikes, though based on the civilian deluxe models had a number of specification differences.....Ian
Re: I want More info for BSA M20 SIDE VALVE DE LUXE
DeLuxe grider frames have rubber mounted handle bars as well.
These are very rare
as others have said, basically a standard bike with more chrome
No internal differences to the engine , gear box or clutch
Some Deluxe machines had a different saddle as well ( wider with better springing ) but not sure of those were offerred on M20's
Re: I want More info for BSA M20 SIDE VALVE DE LUXE
yes. Coz I'm here only have the machine only. without frames.
and I'm having trouble finding original frames in Indonesia. I'm looking for an alternative on ebay. and mostly made in india. As for locally handmade, I'm worried about its strength
but for me it doesn't matter. because this is the art of building an old motorcycle in Indonesia.
if only it was easy i get materials to restore. maybe my motorcycle is done.
