Mark/Hamish It should definitely be on an M20. But it doesn't appear to be listed as a separate part?? At least I haven't found that number yet? Ron

The part number for the M20 version is 65-7037. It is buried in the parts list for the RAF Contacts C10655 C14052. This is from the 1940 parts list (I think). I have three M20's and all three were missing this part when I got them. The rear brake operating hole gets really flogged when this is missing. PS. Excuse the edits - the first picture was a bit hard to read.

Quite right Ray. I was just about to look through the 39 and 40 civy lists, but you saved me the trouble. Cheers :+1: #65-7037 in this group. The number Mark quotes is for the C11 C11G etc. Ron
Thank you, Ray and Ron, for correcting me. I have a long way to go before I get a rivet counter certificate. Of I go to correct my drawing and program part numbers. Mark

So that means I've ruined a perfectly good rear brake arm Mark!! :anguished:
The part number shouldn't damage it Ian.
It is actually threaded for the brake rod and for a grease nipple. There are 3 different sizes that I am aware of , first used in 1929.
65-7037 Sorry I killed the picture by changing its part number Mark
