Triumph 3SW v 3HW - Front brake rod

Hi
Am enquiring on behalf of a friend here

He has a 40 3SW & is looking for details on the front brake rod - dimensions, photos or drawings so he can make one

I have a 3hw here with a brake rod but I know that the forks used are different manufacturers ( Webb or Druid) so am I incorrect to assume the brake rods are different too between these models

Operating cable information would also be a bonus

Any information gratefully received

Re: Triumph 3SW v 3HW - Front brake rod

John the 3HW has Webb forks which are longer than the Triumph forks (1" from memory) But apart from that the parts for the brake rod are the same. Brian Tillin...brian.tillin@icloud.com mob 07786 861697 made all three of mine. They are copied from his original Tiger 80 rod.

Re: Triumph 3SW v 3HW - Front brake rod

John I checked the parts lists and apart from the rod itself, all the rest have the same part number. So for a 3SW just make the rod 1" shorter. Ron
