My own 1941 WM20 was out in Singapore. I have old tax discs and a registration number for it. I am presuming the bike was sold at auction maybe, sometime in the early 1970's when the REME Base workshops were closed down and disbanded.

My bike also has a data plate with 40 BASE stamped on it.
