I’m chasing an original G3L battery strap, the one currently on my bike is a narrow one from a later year. I’ve searched everywhere online and other than the Indian ones on ebay, haven’t found any in acceptable condition.

Alternatively, does anyone have an accurate drawing that would allow me to fabricate an accurate copy.

Have some drawings in PDF, but strangely they hardly have any sizes on them, email me, and I'll send them over.

There was also a difference between G3 and G3L battery trays.

I think I got mine from Cornucopia Enterprises. Does not seem to be listed in their online catalogue, but maybe worth asking.

I've now generated a CAD file of the G3L battery strap and am going to laser cut it soon. I would appreciate any comments regarding the accuracy of the dimensions in the drawing linked below, particularly the various radii on the inside and outside corners.

Anyone who would like a copy of the CAD file please let me know.
