BSA WM20 info and advice

Hi all

I can get hold of this bsa wm20 for 6k €
It was civilianised in the fifties and was revised and put back as a wartime model some years ago

It has not been ride with for the last 4 years.

Both Fuel taps and joints will have to be changed pannier racks and speedo is missing
Compression, Gears changing and ignition are ok, the regulator was changed for a solid state one.

Would you also maybe have some infos with the frame and engine numbers

Here some pics

Re: BSA WM20 info and advice

Hello Yannick, is WM20 6293 the complete frame number or is there another digit under the zip tie?

Re: BSA WM20 info and advice

Hi Rob,

I checked the pictures of the papers he sent me
There is indeed missing a digit which is 7

So the complete frame number should be WM20.62937

thanks

Re: BSA WM20 info and advice

Hi Yannick

WM20 62937 was part of contract C11101, it originally had the WD Serial C4666645 and it was delivered from BSA on 27/6/42, it may have been in Khaki Green No.3 or mid war Brown?

WM20 70634 was originally in contract C12424 with the Serial C4706731.

I can't find either in the post war key cards or the Australian ledgers but there are some pretty close numbers there, where in the world is it located?

Re: BSA WM20 info and advice

Hi Rob already thanks for those info

Its located in Liège, Belgium for several years now as it was the seller's grand dad who had it as a civilian motorcycle
