thanks Ron, a mate at work showed me this photo of his grandad, we dont know much about what he was up to or where he was based, or a date, his name is norman higgins, he was killed at the end of the war in germany and thats where he was buried. nice pic of the bike tough

The background and the fact he wears an FS cap would suggest the UK prior to mid-1944.
