Hello all. Does anyone know, if RAF had any register over the military motorcycles?
I suspect my 38/26SS came here to Norway in 45 when they cleared a minefelt on Lista airport.
A Korporal at this airport got i registered on civilian plates in 52, so I suspect it was based on this airport during the war. It could have come with the Germans but also with the RAF. All help appreciated.

Unfortunately there don't appear to be any surviving RAF WW2 records. Also there were virtually no AJS's recorded as being ordered for WO contracts, although there were quite a few impressed AJS. I have the parts list for these and if you let me have the frame and engine numbers, I'll see if they're in the list. Ron
