I had a pleasant weekend at the Stafford Show...As expected it wasn't as busy as usual but none the worse for that really...Plenty of visitors to the show who seemed to be spending pretty freely...I picked up a NOS front hub for my latest project along with a brakeplate, stainless rear brake rod assembly, a pair of mudguards and other miscellaneous but useful parts...I had a chat with a couple of forum members and met up with many other friends from different parts of the classic bike scene!!....No rain for the four days I was in the area so all in all a good time...
Next stop a day out at Shepton Mallet where I should be collecting my modified petrol tank from the fabricator and, hopefully, more useful parts...Ian
Would like to have gone my self but too much going on with my move
Have never found real diamonds there in the October show but am sure they exist
There are however, most of the traders in st steel, cables & other non brand stuff there which makes it a convenient stop off if you want sundries etc
Hoping to be over again & time Kempton park week after next
I will be over for shepton as have an appointment week after & have booked a jumble slot - it will be going to Ireland permanently week after shepton
