Im rebuilding my 1953 B31 gearbox and need the kickstart quadrant 15-4121 and have ben told its the same as used on the M20. Can someone confirm and if so has anyone got one going spare. I have tried the usual dealers but no luck.

If you have a b31 plunger frame and the usual type of gear box, it should be the same.

I think Peter's in Holland may have one (http://www.petersclassicbikeparts.nl/contents/en-us/d71.html#p1786), not cheap though.

I was looking for one a few months ago and ended up repairing a used one due to the cost.

only one on offer from the UK has the wrong part pictured..

Its looking like these are getting hard to source so I will replace the kick start ratchet and pinion using the old quadrant to see if it helps. Would be interesting if anyone has successfully used those made in India though!

We should have a few of them in a couple of months as they have been added to a current batch of other quadrants we are making.
